We Believe

We believe every student should have access to free tutoring, and that tutoring should keep up with how students are learning and engaging with one another today. We know that student to student connections grow confidence for both.

Who We Are

We are high school students in grades 9-12. We represent 25 high schools in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area (and growing!)

Founders' Story

Tutor Teens Co-Founders (2020)

We started Tutor Teens in March 2020 in response to schools shutting down during the COVID-19 pandemic. What started as a simple effort to help family and neighbors turned into something much larger - many students and parents needed help navigating online school. So, we reached out to friends to see if they wanted to participate as tutors - and the response was overwhelming! So many teens were looking for a way to support their community. And they still are! With the help of so many Cincinnati high schoolers volunteering their time, we've been able to grow Tutor Teens.
